‘Terrain2’ is a terrain/landscape mesh object made for rendering large outdoor areas. The landscape is represented as a heightmap defining the height of points in a fixed grid and the heights can either (normally) be statically defined by for example a texture or generated at runtime to accomodate changes in the landscape.
