below: the left is preview in blender, the right is rendered with crystalspace,all settings are default I didn't change any thing, I am using blender exporter script comes with latest cs trunk version,from directory:  scripts/blender

solved by using jam clean, then ./configure, then jam again. thanks to jorrit:)

this is:

make: *** [install] Error 1

and I've tried beta1  beta2 beta3 even trunk version which is 2.1 I guess,they all stopped at this line,and I guess installation failed? even the sample works with manually call ldconfig,but I'd thought I need to install it correctly.

by the way I am using linux with gcc version 4.5.1 20101208 and python 2.7.

I am not using windows, but did you try to open crystal space manually? there is project file inside mk directory you can use. and there is msvc (version 8,9,10) support.

The demo app ceguitest works fine in both debug and release mode,but my own demo doesn't,
The release mode works fine ,ScrollBar value are correct,but with debug mode It always stoped at code:  ScrollBartest->subscribeEvent(CEGUI::Scrollbar::EventScrollPositionChanged,
                                                                        CEGUI::Event::Subscriber(&Mytest::ScrollBartest_event, this)) when I am linking with:CEGUIBase-vc9.lib libcrystalspace.lib in debug mode

but linking with CEGUIBase-vc9_d.lib libcrystalspace_d.lib, I coundn't even use function like this:
cegui->GetSchemeManagerPtr ()->loadScheme(ice.scheme");   
the cegui.IsValid() return true;but cegui->GetSchemeManagerPtr () is not valid I guess.
the error in debug console says:
Assertion failed: ms_Singleton,file c:\source\cslib\libcegui\include\CEGUISingleton.h line 79
the debug preprocesser are:
the lib I link in the debug mode:

Alsow change CEGUIBase-vc9_d.lib libcrystalspace_d.lib are also not working as I described . I've tried only link CEGUIBase-vc9_d.lib libcrystalspace_d.lib or CEGUIBase-vc9.lib libcrystalspace.lib with no luck same thing happened.

 Am I linking something wrong? Thank you for your help.

 I always get this error when I loading image use this function,here is the code:
csRef<iImage> img_test1=loader->LoadImage(fileData,CS_IMGFMT_ANY);
I have also tried to use
which the iio is the iImageIO, but when I use this way to load Image as the same function in the  g2dTest demo ,return value of img_test1.IsValid() are always false,iio.IsValid() and fileData.isValid() are already true,so what's going on? thank you

I know there are already got one CEGUI wrapper inside crystal space ,but it's too "fat " for my small project,I've done some small GUI librarys inside Irrlicht,and Ogre ,But that's not API independent,so I was wondering if there is one small GUI library for crystal space or should I directly write one through crystal space 2D function,Do i have other options? what crystal core used for create gui stuff?
