I am trying to load 3ds models directly using the different loaders as described in the documentation. I am unable to load both downloaded and self created 3ds file models. I always get errors like "unable to parse 3ds file" or most commonly "can't find material: 'xyz'". This also happens in the test/demo application "viewmesh" with both the precompiled sdk and my own compiled crystal space. I also tryed pseudo stable and svn distributions where i get the same errors.
I would be very happy if you could give me a tip on how to resolve this. ty in advance.
