Hi. Seems you dont have walktest or so. Also, that bug is fixed in latest b2cs.

Well, supported paths are /opt/share/crystalspace-X.Y/ (X.Y is version)

adding also /opt/share/crystalspace would be an option, but not /opt/crystalspace (cant search everywhere).

Hi, as far as i know there are two projects aiming at this:

mozcrystal: (in csexternal repo)

about the first one, i'm not sure whats current status.

The second was working correctly for linux until some months ago when it broke due to changes in cs, so it needs reviewing. Mozcrystal currently implements celstart, so it is capable of loading any celstart app. Also work for making it work on windows is underway (most stuff should be in place, but must make build system work on mingw or visualc++). Work on the plugin is now halted due to personal overload, but its open if anyone wants to hack at it.

I think it needs the following work:
- make it work again on current cs: 10 hours
- make it work on windows: 40 hours
- debug (look for crashers, make it work on several tabs, fix up reloading): 40 hours
- refining (devise system for downloading cs plugins, ensure all events work correctly, implement some initial javascript bindings to control de plugin...): unknown
- make it work on ie: unknown

if anyone interested you can contact me directly about mozcrystal on irc or email.

shadowed2 renderloop doesnt play nicely with portals, that could be the cause. else you can check for non closed meshes which can also cause problems.

Make your room bigger.

Note the default player has some size, and you are making too small a world. Try to experiment a bit with sizes before starting with portals.

8  Crystal Space Development / Game Content Creation / Re: Cel Python Examples can't run on: July 27, 2006, 08:12:17 pm

It seems blender2crystal managed to find and run bootstrap but then python wasnt able to load the crystalspace and cel modules. This could be due to several reasons.

You can check for instructions on what to install and how to check everything is in its place for the python cs bindings. Most probably you dont have swig installed, if so you can try moving the file cel/scripts/ to cel directory and CS/scripts/python/ to CS directory.

Also check on configure if Python SDK is found and usable, else set the PYTHON variable to the full path to your python.exe file (ie, something like c:\Python24\python.exe) before running configure.

hope this helps Smiley

if nothing else and you dont mind using pre-generated binaries you can get compiled CS and cel with python included from to start playing around...
