I had compile the simple tutorial Simple1.exe which in the CS dir,
but I can't find a tutorial that tell me which is the mini-requisite cfg file for the CS,
so when I put Simple1.exe on my custom dir,
I can't see anything in the balck window,
can you tell me which cfg file is really need by a simplest CS app?

Hello, I’m new to CS,
and I want to using Jam to build my program,
so I read the CS-Manual,
and I using MSYS to call
but I get this "autoheader: command not found"
although the project has build in the right pos,
but when I call ./configure on my project dir,
it tell me "bash.exe: ./configure: No such file or directory"
what should I do? I had never used linux, so I don't understand something,
I using mingw32, but when I compile my first CS app,
it tell me "undefined reference to `GetStockObject@4"
so I google it,
and somebody tell me add -mwindows to g++ args,
but I can't find where to add g++ args on my IDE(qtcreater),
so I had to link it myself,
after g++.... the exe really generated,
but when I open the exe it tell me "the program stop running", so sad,
so now I had only to using Jam, it's my final hope,
because I had compile the CS-SDK using Jam,
and the exe it generated really work on my win7_64_OS,
so I think may using Jam to build my project, but it may be hard to using Jam with IDE(I don't know how to do,may u know, please tell me,  which I mean is that I can only click build, and then the ide will call Jam to my project...)

I'd be interested, if nothing else, then as a learning experience. I'm a great 3D modeler, and have experience working with Blender a bit, tho am still fairly new. Tho, I'm certain with my experience as a builder in SecondLife, I'd prove helpful if nothing else...

...Feel free to contact me if interested wink

How is the status of this? I'm certainly interested in this project to see how it evolves.

You will get better response if you take this to the crystal-main mailing list. When doing so, you will be asked to provide relevant snippets from the config.log file.

I would strongly recommend this video for any one having problems with setting up a visual studio ide: (helped me meany times) compiler ( i might try next if i cannot get visual studio working)

Hi all, i'm having problems building the includes and library and dll on visual studio, while code blocks would be easier, until then ii'll work with issue out i'll revert back to code blocks.

My problem is: crystalspace src-2.0 of source forge: not sure if its the latest, or not.

Those familiar with visual studio;  i was checking out the test projects: c: crystalspace src-2.0/apps/tutorial/simple1 housed in crystalspace src-2.0 on my computer and went through the steps on the tutorial

Visual studio:
1# file-new-project-32 windows-application-filename simple1
2#solution explorer, simple1-add-existing items(simple1.cpp,simple1.header) copy them over to c: users/name/My documents/visual studio 2012/projects
3#solution explorer-simple1-right click for properties-configuration (all active) |  general vc++ directories (include directories:C:\crystalspace-src-2.0\include;$(IncludePath) library directory:C:\crystalspace-src-2.0\libs;$(LibraryPath)) | apply
4# code generation-active debug-Runtime library: Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd) | active release Multi-threaded DLL (/MD) | apply

1>------ Build started: Project: simple1, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
1>LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libcrystalspace_d.lib'
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

Any help would be really appreciated.

Visual studios more complex than code blocks.
