Important note! We will soon start to migrate the sources of Crystal Space, CEL, and Crystal Core to SVN. Read more for an exact timeline on this migration:
4 May: start of migration planWe already made a test SVN some time ago. Now is a good time to test that out. Note! Don't make an important commits there as we are going to ditch all of that. It is just there for testing purposes. Feel free to play with it in any way you can (i.e. if you are a developer then make branches, do commits, updates, ...). Now is the time to play! You can check out the SVN at:
* svn co
https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/crystal/trunk/CS* svn co
https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/crystal/trunk/crystalcore* svn co
https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/cel/trunk/cel Note that the CEL repository hasn't been converted yet!
It is also now that you should consider committing stuff to CVS so that it will be migrated. Otherwise it will be harder for you as you will have to manually move over the stuff from CVS to SVN later.
11 May: Locking of CVSNow we will lock CVS so developers will no longer be able to commit stuff! Please try to make sure you did commit everything before this date or else set aside your local changes so that you can re-integrate them with SVN later.
Here we will also start to migrate the CVS repository for CS and CEL to SVN.
13 May: TestingThe conversion has been done. Now it is time to test the new SVN repository and see that all data is there. If needed we will redo migration.
16 May: We're in the air!The SVN repository is opened and we can start developing on it. The jobber and other crontab based scripts are restarted.
