Last post here was a long time ago, so hows this porject going?

I'm experienced with programing(only ruby for now) and I'll start experimenting with Blender's source code soon. I'll let you know, once I know if I can help in some way.

Due to being extremely busy with other CS and CEL issues (Google Summer of Code, CS Conference, 1.0 preparation, SVN migration, ...) I have little time for CrystalBlend right now. At the moment the thing I need to do first is to fix it so that it works on my 64-bit system.

Also, I checked out the Source code for Blender... Thats the messiest programing i ever saw but then again i looked at it with Microsoft Wordpad.


I think I need Visual C++ to realy know what I'm doing, right?

Does the source use Python, or C++?

have you got it to run on your system yet?

I am new but I completely understand what you are doing and wish I could help.

Is there anyway that I could? I have no programing skills but I am going to learn a bit of python soon.
maybe I could just test the realeased versions and give feedback and bug reports.
