problem with crystalspace exporter

hello all,

I'm trying to export some models from 3d studio max to CS using the Planeshift 3ds exporter, but when I actually try to export my model, it gives me the following error:

"Runtime error: mesh operation on non-mesh: Editable Spline"

with the last part ("editable spline" in this example) changing according to different models and objects.
The result is an incomplete and broken xml world file which is useless for CS.

Please help me with this issue, it would be very appreciated.
