I happen to like posting as anonymous. May I suggest requiring CAPTCHA verification for guests?

I'm not sure our forum software that we use allows that. Perhaps it does.

As far as I can tell, SMF doesn't have CAPTCHA support for posting and there aren't any premade mods for this function. I have noticed that you do use the captcha mod for verifying login registrations. You may be able to modify that to get captcha support for guest posters.
