The new blender version has been released a couple of days ago. Has anybody tried it yet?

Before I switch to 2.42 I would like to know if it is worth it. Does the blender2cal3d scripts still work? And what about blender2crystal?

I'm still very new to CS, CEL and blender, so I don't want to introduce any more difficulties. It is hard enough to start as is. Smiley

I think that caedes actually tried out blender 2.42 already and that it works without problems.

I couldn't help myself and ended up downloading it anyway. The new shiny version was just too tempting. Smiley I'll have to wait until tonight to test it with cal3d and CS.
