Hey all, i'm trying to find some basic information of getting a opengl/gaming development environment setup under linux (Ubuntu Dapper) but i can't seem to find any info on what libraries to install or how to set them up once installed etc.

Can anyone help ?

This is a Crystal Space forum, not a general OpenGL forum. But:

First, google it:

Or you can download Crystal Space, this is a
 great OpenGL based game development SDK with many nice feature.

Yes, and who knows? If you later decide to go beyond mere OpenGL rendering, you may appreciate all the rest that CS has to offer.
