I've installed Crystal Space 0.99, the crystalspace win32 libraries, and Mingw After extracting the Cel sourcecode to
C:/.../crystalspace/cel I tried to run configure from inside MingW but I get the following error

$ ./configure
checking build system type... i686-pc-mingw32
checking host system type... i686-pc-mingw32
checking how to create a directory... mkdir
checking how to create a directory tree... mkdir -p
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

My Config.log file looks like this:

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by cel configure 0.99, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59.  Invocation command line was

  $ ./configure

Sounds like you didn't install mingw right. You are missing a compiler. Can you tell me exactly what you downloaded and installed? You need the following two packages (minimum):

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mingw/MinGW-5.0.3.exe
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mingw/MSYS-1.0.10.exe

Also you will have to compile Crystal Space as well. You can't use the binary distribution of CS and then compile CEL. You must use source for both and compile both.

Greetings,
