Hi- first post...

I encountered a problem in loading my b2cs script in blender... I have the scripts in the proper places and have performed all the install instructions I can locate. When I click "Crystal Space" under File -> Export, I get an error on the console that reads:

Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<string>", line 47, in <module>
ImportError: no module named b2cs

I need a fix and would appreciate any advice...

Thanks,
  Mike

More information might be helpful. For instance, what OS are you running, which versions of blender, b2cs and crystalspace do you use? Did you follow the installation instructions at http://b2cs.delcorp.org/index.php/ArtistInstall?

I am running Windows XP using Blender 2.44 and have the Crystal Space package found at http://b2cs.delcorp.org/index.php/ArtistInstall where i located all the packages.

I followed all the instructions under "artist install" including the setting of the env. variables for CEL and CS.

thanks

You can't use Blender 2.44 with b2cs because blender now uses python 2.5.
You should be better served with 2.43.

EDIT: Never mind about that it's already updated for python 2.5, sorry Sad Have you installed everything in place?

Hope it helps
Happy Blending!

Try Blender 2.45 Maybe that will help...

[Edit] OK, I looked it up. b2cs is for Blender 2.44... this can't be the reason.

I located the problem.

The directory structure of the archive got whacked somewhere along the way and when I moved the folder Blender saw the module but the code wasn't correct for the directory structure.

Thanks for your advice Smiley
