A tutorial on how to compile crystalcore EXACTLY on a MinGW windows xp termianl. As well as how to solve the problems that comes from it.

Crystalcore compiles the same as most other projects closely associated with Crystalspace and cel

install win32 libs.
Compile Crystalspace :
./configure --enable-debug
jam
Set CRYSTAL environemnt variable :
Compile CEL:
./configure --enable-debug
jam
export CRYSTAL=/c/CS/ <---- your CS PATH
compile CEL
Set CEL environment variable :
export CEL=/c/cel/<---your CEL path.
Compile CrystalCore
./configure --enable-debug
jam
Install levels and data associated with CC.

it's really that simple assuming that Crystalcore has not become outdated.

You forgot the first step, how to access the CVS

The idea of tutorials provided on the community site are to provide such knowledge (there are several CVS tutorials).

Yea, I already figure out how to get the CVS, Wincvs seems to do the trick. But the instrutions, makes it seem too simple as if all you need to do, is download the 7 files in a certain directory and run a bunch of commands. It should at lease give a link to the CVS and stress that a cvs program is needed to access the other files needed to compile it.

CEL and CrystalSpace has there CVS ZIP, so it's confusing when they say to get the CVS files for crystalcore.
