i have read in a few places that Crystal Space has python bindings. I have also heard that Crystal space does not work to well with python. Im wondering if anybody can help me out on this (also is there any bit of the crystal space community that uses python?)

There are some info on Python in the documentation. http://crystalspace3d.org/docs/online/manual/cs_7.8.4.php#7.8.4

I've had very little experience with python. Python doesn't seem  to be widely used here.
