To be able to use the networking plugin in CEL you have to install the HawkNL library (google) and make sure CEL knows where to find it (./configure --help) it when you configure CEL.

Hmm not sure myself I'm afraid. Haven't used it in a long time. Btw, what compiler are you using?

i use vC 8.0 to compile the CS and CEL!

i found in packet "HawkNL168bin.zip(96K) Precompiled Windows examples, DLL, and static library for HawkNL 1.68. " there are two ".lib" file .Does CEL can find the libs, if i add them into vc8.0?

I'm afraid you'll have to do more then just add the libs. You will also have to add a project for the hawknl plugin in CEL as that is missing. I can't really help you with that as I don't use MSVC myself.

Personally however, I'm not sure the HawkNL plugin in CEL is mature enough to be used really. You might be better off using some other networking library like RakNet and doing the interfacing yourselves.

Can i use some simple net programming instead of HawkNL? or i have to use the high-level networking library?
i just want to use cs to implement a very simple network game.

That's up to you. You can use any kind of networking that you want but of course you'll have to implement it yourselves.

Well 'nettest' is C++ so with sufficient code you can modify it to do anything of course. But I don't know exactly what you want so can't give a more exact answer.

Not really. Your question is too vague. I can hardly explain game networking fully. There are books written on that topic. I need a more precise question or problem description.

i want to create two clients and connect them by using server .
i want to realize that the player2 in client2 can see the player1's moving who is in client1.  That means the client1 need to send those changing messages to the server when the state of the player1 have changed; Then the server handle the message and inform the client2 that the player1 have changed, so the player2 who is in client2 could see these changes which happened in player1.

Sorry, my english is not very good!

Ok, sounds like how it is usually done. So what exactly do you want me to explain then? What is the actual problem?

My question is that i don't know weather my simple network program can implement sending the data which use in "nettest" between client and server?
