Hi, i'm new in the Crystal Space community and to the python programming world! Smiley

I got a question:

Can Newton Game Dynamics can be combined whit the Crystal Space engine, and make an app writen in python?

In Fact: what better between:
-Crystal Space physics
Or
-Newton Game Dynamics physic engine

What is the best for python?

There is no support for the Newton engine in CS, but there are other solutions.

In 1.4 there is mainly the ODE plugin, which works rather well.
In 1.9 (trunk) there is now the Bullet plugin with many features such as ragdolls, soft bodies, kinematic objects.
Both of these plugins should work from Python.

The Newton engine seems great, but its code is not open, while Bullet is open-source and is a very active project with many features and used widely in many commercial applications.

I would suggest Bullet if you are in CS 1.9 and ODE if you are in CS 1.4.

thanks alot for the info

can i ask another thing?
is there's a kind od document or a list for python command in crystal space and cel?
because i read all the python documentation (non-programmer's toturial for python)
and now i can make some program, but really un-usefull (exept a "staff credit script" who print out a text....)
