Hello, i'm new in this forum, i'm been a while experimenting and testing the stable release of Crystal Space (Linux 32bits & Lubuntu 12.10) ,  It's an engine of another world!, never seen a great engine as Irrlicht and OGRE but with included batteries.

Now my question is ¿how to create cinematics (specially dynamics) into my Crystal Space project?, Oh and also i know what game is in this image!: http://www.crystalspace3d.org/main/Image:Showcase_1_0_Demo.jpg  (It's opensource?)

I know little about Mac since I do not have one. I don’t know how to use it since I have got used to use PC. Today I want you to tell me what to do.

One of my friends uploaded some MTS videos which had been made by a camera to his Mac. He said that he was in need of some software to help finish and put those files into MOV onto my computer’s external hard drive. I was excited that I could play those MTS videos on my computer only to find that there were only audios. I tried to transfer these MTS to MOV a lot while failed. Aftermath, people in the internet and experts told me that the icon of the files was the only problem. It forbidden the files to be changed or used expect on Macs.

Under my persuasion, another friend promised me to give me his Mac. I thought that the MTS files on his Mac could be transferred to .mov or .mpeg-4, which could be played on my PC. However, no matter Handbrake or MPEG-4 Stream helped me to do that. These files are so good that I want them very much. Can you tell me what to do?

Thus, the problem exists in the icod codec which was done at the moment of uploading. It produces good quality, edits far better than HD video’s codec and enlarges the size for 3 times. So when your MOV files are extremely large, they are encoded with icod codec. Since it cannot be changed on PC, Mac is need for you to transfer MOV to MP4 for Mac format. If the NFTS drive is in your use, then a program is in need for Mac to write mp4 file. For this purpose, Tuxera’s free version was tried and it turned out to be great.

Then, a setting is in need to transfer AVI format on the Mac. Neither Handbrake nor MPEG StreamClip could work. Fortunately, iMovie is the right one. The steps are very simple and you need only your files in iMovie and are saved again by choosing another format, such as .avi. At last, what you get are far smaller than before and they can be used on PC, which shows that you have got rid of the icod codec successfully. Since I have found the way, they are able to be made on my PC!

I have to apologize if what I’m going to say is a new problem. I was asked by a local Nonprofit to transfer their AVI to MOV for Mac because they want to use them in Canopus Edius system. But I don’t know how since the Canopus products haven’t been used for years.

I like using Snow Leopard and FCP6. Mpeg Streamclip and QT7 are used by me and some of FLV video cannot be seen on QT7’s produced files while white color of the screen can be seen in Streamclip. Compressor has also been tried while the effect was small in Sorenson 3. The one who is from NonProfit Canopus tells I that they cannot be used and have to convert FLV to MOV, however, they work well on FCP.

There’s another non-profit who has the same environmental footage looking for help. Do you know how to begin? I’m not willing to pay money for the problem while if it is inevitable, I have to ask them for some.

The detailed information of the codec is in need for their process. Take QuickTime for example, it owns plenty of codecs, of which one is used for MOV file, while other different codecs are used for AVI file.
