When I try to compile the Crystal Space wkstypical.dswproject, I get heaps of warnings:

Command line warning D4002 : ignoring unknown option '/Ot'
Command line warning D4002 : ignoring unknown option '/Og'
Command line warning D4002 : ignoring unknown option '/Oi'
Command line warning D4002 : ignoring unknown option '/Oy'
Command line warning D4002 : ignoring unknown option '/Ob2'

What's wrong?  Is this a problem?  How can I stop this?

grpall_typical.lib - 0 error(s), 865 warning(s) sounds VERY nasty.

I'm using MSVC 6 and CS version 98.004

Well does CS work? If it does then I wouldn't worry.

They all crash horribly. Sad

Some error flash by when it starts up in the command line then when the window loads, it crashes.

I change the compile configuration to Debug... 0 errors, 0 warnings...  Still crashes though...

On startup, the executables have three errors appear...  I was able to capture the first two:

SCF_WARNING: class crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl has already been registered in the same context ('app')
SCF_WARNING: class crystalspace.graphics3d.null has already been registered in the same context ('app')

If this helps, I've posted the crash log thinggo at http://www.theponny.com/posts/cscrash208.zip

That looks as if you either have some other version of CS on your system and your CRYSTAL env var is pointing to that or else you first compiled CS with new or old renderer and then changed. In the last case you should remove all dll's and build them again.
