..hi folks..I'm wondering, can I use Crystal Space within Dev-C++ programming environment..and if yes, can someone explain me how to do proper set up...thanks..

Yes, you can use it to make apps that utilize CrystalSpace. I think there's a HOWTO in the manual.

Crystal Space itself cannot be compiled with Dev-C++ but you can use Dev-C++ to compile your own programs that use CS. Check the manual about how to do this. It is documented (but not with 0.98r004, best to use CVS for this).
