Hey, I've followed the tutorial ' Building Cal3d Models with Blender 2.35' and have run into problems when trying to export the model.
If I try to export a model I only get the gui that shows the file list, name and dir, but not the window that's painted in the tutorial
(the window with: Export for Soya, Export to XML and other buttons). How do I access that window?

Are you using Blender 2.35 or a more recent version?

I'll see if I can replicate with that version...

It sounds like you're using the version of the exported that comes with blender.  I didn't have much luck with that. I've had the most luck with the blender2cal3d_2.py file that comes with recent versions of cal3d.

You can check my post in http://community.crystalspace3d.org/forum/index.php/topic,283.0.html for a link to get it as well as my patch or just browse the CVS for cal3d at sf.net and grab the file if you want a pristine copy.

It does look like Blender's exporter changed between versions. The tutorial uses a later version... so you might want to use the separate python exporter... or downshift to 2.35. I'll probably update the tutorial accordingly.
