Hi again,

I'm trying to manually put the door meshobj in the flarge map into my own map. I have adjusted the coordinates to the doorway in the map, set existing textures for the object itself, but the object does not seem to entirely be there. Its kinda strange...I don't see anything there, nothing gets in my way when I walk through the doorway, but when I use the middle click for walktest on the doorway it does identify the mesh I've created "Selected mesh rot_door1" is displayed.

Any ideas??

I would have to see the map file.

Been doing other stuff, finally got back to putting in a door. I don't have the same problem now. My door is there, but there is something wrongwith the start or end coordinates for the object. Here is my map code for the door

<meshobj name = "door">
         <plugin>thing</plugin>
         <zuse />
         <params>
            <v x="-7.04" y="-1.92" z="-1.28" />
            <v x="-7.04" y="-1.92" z="-1.48" />
            <v x="-8.96" y="-1.92" z="-1.28" />
            <v x="-8.96" y="-1.92" z="-1.48" />
            <v x="-7.04" y="-4.48" z="-1.28" />
            <v x="-7.04" y="-4.48" z="-1.48" />
            <v x="-8.96" y="-4.48" z="-1.28" />
            <v x="-8.96" y="-4.48" z="-1.48" />
            <material>T_WOOD11</material>
            <p name="top" >
               <v>1</v>
               <v>2</v>
               <v>4</v>
               <v>3</v>
            </p>
            <p name="left" >
               <v>1</v>
               <v>5</v>
               <v>6</v>
               <v>2</v>
            </p>
            <p name="back" >
               <v>2</v>
               <v>4</v>
               <v>8</v>
               <v>6</v>
            </p>
            <p name="bottom" >
               <v>6</v>
               <v>8</v>
               <v>7</v>
               <v>5</v>
            </p>
            <p name="front" >
               <v>5</v>
               <v>1</v>
               <v>3</v>
               <v>7</v>
            </p>
            <p name="right" >
               <v>7</v>
               <v>3</v>
               <v>4</v>
               <v>8</v>
            </p

it also doesn't seem to draw the textures between the points specified, just on the first face, but when I try put in the material again it crashes

thanks
