I'm not a programmer but I get the logic...

I used the torque engine from garage games.

It has a scene graph for the creation of the game engine.

Does crystal space 3d have a gui way of creating a game?

If not any plans to do this?

Not yet but the CrystalBlend project is going to do this. Basically you will be able to make games in Blender without requiring programming.

You answered to a 4 year old topic, the situation has changed a lot since there.

The blender2crystal project (http://leapingcat.org/blender2crystal/index.php/Main_Page) can now do this pretty well. You can export easily many types of meshes and scenes with it. It does not however works completely automatically for a whole Blender game, you need to export manually things such as the Python scripts for the behaviors of the objects.

There is also the CrystalArchitect project (http://wiki.kyanite-studios.org/doku.php?id=ca:start) which is a complete environment with a "What you see is what you play" interface.
