Well it is just a matter of mapping the texture differently. To give you more precise explanation I need to know how you created that world.

In blender, somewhere in the materials window to the right side (where you choose texture stats) or in the texture window (can't remember, been a while T.T ) there will be parameters to the tune of "Xrepeat" "Yrepeat" and "Zrepeat". They manage how many times the texture is copied. Setting each to "2" would repeat your texture two times to make a horizontal segment, and two times to make a vertical, giving you a plane where the texture is tiled 2x2, or 4 times total, across it. Just fiddle with those, making sure to keep them equal so as not to strech it funky, till you're happy. ^^
