It is best to use 'jam' (this goes for CS as well). So just type:

./configure
jam

But when I use this command I get "jamfile no such file or directory ....found 7 targets...."

I have just unpacked the cel file in my folder.

And you did do the configure? And that configure didn't fail?

Can you give me the value of CRYSTAL? Did you use the correct msys style for paths? i.e. you should NOT use c:\bla but instead you should use /c/bla

The value of crystal? Im using pseudo-stable-2005-09-03.

I installed mingw to C:\mingw and msys to c:\msys\1.0. when installing msys i have pointed it to my mingw path.  should this be another path?

I mean the value of the CRYSTAL environment variable. CEL needs to know where to find Crystal Space. So you have to set the CRYSTAL environment variable to something like this: /c/path_to_cs

my value is

CRYSTAL

C:\CRYSTAL\CS

Well as I said above that is wrong. This must be: /c/CRYSTAL/CS

After changing that variable you need to configure again. Did you do that?
So it is something like this:

cd /c/CRYSTAL/cel
export CRYSTAL=/c/CRYSTAL/CS
./configure
jam

Did you build all of CS? In particular, make sure that the `cs-config' tool got built. It should be in your CS directory.

If you can't set the CRYSTAL environment variable correctly, then you should use CEL's 'configure' script option which allows you to tell it where CS resides. See `configure --help' in CEL to find the correct option.

Thanls for the help. i have now recompiled CS and I can now recompile CEL as well. There wasn't any problems.

But now when I run the blender2crystal script in blender I only get a .zip file, but the world is not loaded into walktest. I have put the environment variable to point to the respective paths
