I have exported a character from character studio 4.2 to crystal with cal3d exporter, but when I load the factory in the world xml file, crystal crashes and XP shows me the typical error that the app has failed....I'm beginning to think that cal3d only works
with character studio 4.0...could it be possible ?? somebody knows if cal3d also works in 3dsmax 6.0 and Character Studio 4.2
I'm working with Latest Stable (0.98r004) version of Cs and I have a problem with cal3d.
I have modeled a character with 3dsmax and I have exported the skeleton, the mesh, the
materials and animations correctly but..
When I create the factory into the "world" xml file, something like this lines of code...<meshfact name="mycharacter">
<mesh material="skin" name="cuerpo" file="cal3d/cuerpo.cmf"/>
<animation name="Sigiloso" file="cal3d/sIGILOSO.caf"/>
<animation name="Andapijo" file="cal3d/Andapijo.caf"/>
<animation name="Andadef.001" file="cal3d/Andadef.001.caf"/>
...when I execute my application, crystal shows me...
"WARNING : could not load plugin 'crystalspace.mesh.loader.factory,cal3d'...
but I suppose I have installed this plugin, because I have a directory called "sprcal3d"
into the directory "plugins/mesh" and another directoy "cal3d" in C:\Cs\Cal3d\...
I don't know If I must to install another cal3d plugin, If I should mount a path
in some file...I'm really lost xD.
