It's the first time I'm using Crystal Space and I'm trying to compile walkdemo.cpp with Dev-Cpp 4.9.9.2. At the first moment there were lots of compile error messages. I have added all include directories in the proper place and then the compile error messages go away, but lots of this linker error message appear. Is there anyone that can help me? Two more questions: what do you think about Dev-Cpp? I have MSVC 6.0 in my machine too, is it better to work with Crystal Space? I'll be waiting for some help. Thank's so much.

Can you copy/paste the exact error you get?

MSVC6 is not supported. Better use Dev-Cpp.

to nickwarren:
For DevC++ you need to specify libraries to link. See for details http://www14.brinkster.com/aditsu/dev-cpp-faq.html#link
As minimum specify -lcrystalspace -lgdi32

The sequence of messages are...

[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'WalkTest::Report(int, char const*, ...)'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
more undefined references to 'Sys' follow
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'WalkTest::Report(int, char const*, ...)'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'
[Linker error] undefined reference to 'Sys'

And It goes on and on...

The libraries: I have specified all crystal space libraries in Dev-Cpp:   compiler options - Directories - Libraries. I'll try to do what's on www14.brinkster.com and after I'll tell you.

Thanks so much
