The purpose of this thread is to provide in one place links to some good resources for making 3D art for new CS projects.
If You are an aspiring artist, or anyone who just wants to try a hand at 3D game design, hopefully this would help You get started.
I'd appreciate a lot if others could add more good links and/or information to this thread.

Hey, thanks for sharing this. I think Google Sketchup is one of the best utilities which can be so much of use to the beginners in 3D design. The pro version is available at a price. I think the free version is enough.
