To start with a better topic would be "I need help compiling crystalspace"

As for compiling which compiler do you have (MSVC and MingW are the main ones). At a guess from your post you don't have one so I need to know which version you have and which platform you use but for pseudo-stable on windows you need to install http://www.crystalspace3d.org/support/win32/cs-win32libs-0.99r0_020.exe and then take a look at http://crystalspace3d.org/docs/online/manual/cs_2.4.4.php#2.4.4.
