We, the developers, think Crystal Space is a good engine. Not everyone of you may agree with us about that, but given that we think Crystal Space is good, it (negatively) surprises us, that there are still people around, who are active in the Open Source gaming and STILL never heard of Crystal Space at all.
That's something that should change. Even if those people don't like Crystal Space, they should at least have a chance to evaluate it properly. And perhaps they may learn to like it in the future. Who knows.
You can help us to promote Crystal Space to the public. In this article I will show you a few ways to help us. Note that all tips below are also relevant for Crystal Entity Layer, CELstart, and Crystal Core of course.
Mouth to Mouth
Tell other people. Tell your friends. Tell everyone who might be interested. If you are a student at a university perhaps talk to your teacher or professor. Crystal Space is rather good for using in an academic environment and has even been used at schools and universities several times before.
Review or Write a Story about Crystal Space
Write a good and honest review or story and try to get people to read it. If it is a really good story you could try to submit it to slashdot.org, www.digg.com, or www.kuro5hin.org. Who knows they will accept the story.
You could also try to submit the story to gaming or linux magazines (online or paper).
Write about Crystal Space in your blog. Tell people what phantastic things you are able to do with it (like walking thru walls or flying in the air ;-). Talk about your projects and how you use Crystal Space.

We also have several entries for our projects at www.ohloh.net. This is a very interesting site that gathers all kinds of statistics on projects and people involved with those projects. You can 'stack us' there. We have the following projects at ohloh:
HappyPenguin.org also has several entries for our projects and you can vote on them and post comments:
freshmeat.net has an entry for a few of our projects as well. Again you can vote for them:
