Beta release version (2.0 beta 1)

The latest beta release version of Crystal Space is 2.0 beta 1 (10 December 2011). This version has been tested on Windows, GNU/Linux, and MacOS/X and should work with no major problems on those. If you encounter a problem then please report it!

The latest beta release version of CEL is 2.0 beta 1 (10 December 2011) This version is compatible with Crystal Space 2.0 beta 1 and is also tested on the three target platforms. CEL also provides the source code for CELstart.

Dependencies

Crystal Space requires a number of external libraries for a few basic and some optional features.
A list of required and optional dependencies can be found in the "External Libraries" section of the manual.

• For Windows users, "cs-winlibs", a package with precompiled support libraries, is available for download either in 32 bits or in 64 bits.

Download source archive

The source packages are available in the formats .zip, .tar.gz and .tar.bz2
and is an all-you-need package, containing the sources for all plugins, required data,
demo applications and maps as well as the user's manual and API documentation.

Download binaries

SDK

Sorry, there are no binaries for SDK released yet.

CELStart

These are contributed (unsupported) builds for CELStart from 1.4.0 release.
They might be most useful for artists, or even developers making a CELStart application
so they don't have to build or release their own binary.
Also include cslight, lighter2, walktest, basemapgen, docconv and bootstrap utilities.
Note that viewmesh & python CEGUI support are included only in Linux build.

Changes

There's still no detailed changelogs with previous releases.
However, you can see the release highlights page for new features.
The 1.4 planning Trac page has informations about revisions merged from trunk/1.9 since 1.4 branch creation.
