When I try to create a forum account I get this error... Login error: There was either an external authentication database error or you are not allowed to update your external account.

Duplicate of #31.

This is a known issue which should be repaired at some point (perhaps by pointing people at the correct registration location).

You actually need to register by creating an account at the Crystal Space web site (http://www.crystalspace3d.org/) and then use that account for logging into the forum.
