ALWAYS tell us what versions you are using. First what version of Crystal Space and also what version of the cswinlibs package.

In the past Crystal Space has already been used in a browser. However this functionality
is not built-in and the plugin which allowed to do this was based on a very old version
of CS and I can no longer find it. So yes, it is possible but no, not out of the box at this

As you may have noticed I have already started filling a lot of settings related information (like world, npc's, quests, ...). If you are interested in this subject then please go over the information already present on the site and let me know if you have more information. If you would like to be a part of the settings team then this is your chance too.

I'm very open to suggestions on the story as I have it so far although I would not like to change (much) the basic concept as I have it now unless you can find a very good and convincing reason otherwise smiley

CS supports 64-bits. That's no problem.

However CS is not (in general) thread safe. We do have some areas that are thread-safe and even have
support for threaded loading and a few other things but in general you should not run CS things
from other threads unless you are *very* careful indeed.

Custom vertex meshes are no problem.

I don't see how you get this impression. The community is very active and there are lots of interesting developments going on. See for example the main Crystal Space site where there are new news items every week. So no, CS is still very alive and kicking. See also project ares (link on main CS site) which has recently been announced.

But what is your version of CS? For CS 1.4 you need cswinlibs1.4.something. The version must match exactly.

Did you install cswinlibs package correctly? Which version? Also which version of CS and which compiler? More information please!

The message you show is a warning and not an error. It means that a CS plugin is missing (not a CEL one). Basically you probably don't have OGG libraries on your system so the plugin in CS that is responsible for loading OGG sound files was not built.

But this is only a warning. The apps in CEL should still work.

The flarge map as used by the tutorial has lots of collision detection bugs. It is not a bug in the code but in the map. With a better map it will look fine.
