If you think it's possible using 2 cameras, it will be, probably, the best solution: more open and for best results on dual screen, stereoscopic displays or stereoscopic projections ( and why not, with an open source clustering technology for multiple displays like Softgenlock, for exemple ?).
These possibilities would be really attractives for studies and experiments in stereo, as a substitute for 3d engines, like Quake 3 !...

have you in project to add stereoscopic features in Crystal Space. It may be really very interesting for use in virtual spaces. The stereoscopic technology of the nVIDIA graphics cards can add this feature to many games wich used Opengl but it seem that it can't be used with Crystal Space.
