Sory, it's me again... :S

How can I load an external model file (not the part of the "world" file) for my map? And how can I place it to the map in Blender?

For usage in Blender you better check the blender2crystal documentation as it explains how to do that. For loading external model files in a world file you can do something like:

<meshfact name="bla" file="/lev/mymodel" />

Okay, thanks. But how can I place it in Blender? I don't want to hard-code the model's position in the "world" file.

As I said. Check the blender2crystal manual for that.

Try to email caedes (you can find the email address on the blender2crystal site) about it then. I haven't used blender2crystal myself yet so I don't know how that would work.

If you want to import/link the model in blender (but it will exported as a seperate brand new model in the world file), just use file->append in blender. Toggle the link button for linking to a model (linking means that the model in the file you link to will be the one used and any changes made in the original file are changes made to the appended model).

If you want to use the model in the world file (so its one factory imported from elsewhere) you will have to code that yourself afaik by importing the factories like Jorrit did. Best to check with caedes though about that.

Sorry, at the moment there is no way to setup this using blender2crystal. it will soon be added through the library browser, and it will import the model so you can see it but use the external reference.
This is work in progress though, and still have to think how to fit all nicely in the workflow.
The idea is to let the user add user libraries to the map, and then by browsing being able to import or reference from your map, kind of 'soft import' as mesh will be imported so you can see the real mesh, but on export the reference will be used instead of generating a factory.
