What editor is best for Crystal Space? I usually use brush editors like Hammer, or 3D World Studios.  Can it use any of these formats like
.3dw, .pfb, .b3d .dbo, .txt, .fy, .map, .wmp, .x,  Those are the formats for 3DWS if www.leadwerks.com  If there is a better editor could you show me.  Thanks!

Blender is currently best supported. With Blender you can do nearly everything that CS supports.

You mean mapping in blender? Level design in blender would be a bitch to do.

What is the difference between mapping and level design? We use Blender for making full Crystal Space levels. It works nicely and very well.

Ok, I just found blender way to slow.  Brush editors like hammer I can pump out a level much more time effectivly.

Yes but on the other hand the support for Blender is a lot better in CS (through the blender2crystal script). Support for Hammer is currently not existant.

Of course hammer isn't supported as it wouldn't be optimal to use the standalone version which can only compile a map with a max of 4 mb of textures.  They have to be .wad also which is a total bitch.  My question is if there is an editor *Like* hammer because almost every person knows what hammer is or has had a hand at it.  Is there a brush editor besides blender?
