Blender to Crystal Error

My apologies - I did not realize that there was a CrystalBlend Forum

Hello Everyone,

I am going thru the tutorial http://b2cs.delcorp.org/index.php/First_steps_with_blender2crystal.  Everything was going fine until I clicked on the "Add" button next to Layers in the material panel.  When I click on it, nothing happens, and I get the following error in Blender console:

<class 'xml.parsers.expat.ExpatError'>
* could not parse C:\Program Files\pycelstart7.8\cs\data\shader/std_lighting.xml

I am using Blender 2.44, python 2.5

Any help greatly appreciated.

OK, I think I've narrowed it down to a loose nut behind the keyboard.  Apparently, this is what gets written to the console when there is no valid option for the "Add" button in the current context.
