Hy,

this is my third day with CrystalSpace. I have already compiled it. Now I am trying to run the code of this tutorial:
http://www.crystalspace3d.org/docs/online/manual-1.0/cs_4.2.1.2.php#4.2.1.2
Next page:
Quote
Now we have a very exciting application which opens a black window and waits for the ESC key to quit.
Well, this doesn't happen. A black window is popping up and quitting in the next moment.
I thought that might be nothing to worry about, but in the next step I should see me standing in a room, but the application quits, before I have the chance to see something.

Why is it doing this? I have copied all the code, like it is written in the tutorial.

Help?

Thank you.

Ok, it was hard to make a screenshot of the blinking console, but here it is:

I know the errors now.
Problem is solved now.

Capturing console output is made vastly simpler by running the application from a command line.

Also, check your %TEMP% directory, if you made a debug build of CS, you should find a csdebug-<yourusername>.txt there which also contains (most) of the same output as the console.
