What exactly do you want to do? Why make a new loader? What does this loader have to do special compared to the current one?

Hi, we want to make a loader for p3d(portable 3d format) files using crystal space

Can you tell me a bit more about this format? Is this a format for the entire world
description (all objects, lights, materials, ...) or is this format only for a single object?

That makes a big difference as regards to what type of plugin you actually need
to re-implement.

Hi! thanks jorrit, sorry, we´re noobz and i don´t know what information is important. It´s for the entire world and hierarchical representation, it´s organized in one superobject(world) containing others superobjects with a father/son relationship, the last son its the object to render.

Thanks again!

Well I don't know the format but I'm a bit concerned that it may be a bit complicated to try to implement a loader for this in the iLoader interface. Perhaps it would be a better idea to make your own custom loader for this. i.e. don't bother about implementing iLoader but instead implement something of your own. But again, I don't know exactly how p3d works so I may be wrong here.
