Hi, I am currently evaluating Crystalspace for use in an upcoming project where one of the main features will be terraforming. Rather than dive straight into the code I thought I'd ask here first... Can this be done at all in Crystalspace?

I basically want to be able to change textures and raise and lower terrain of varying sizes during runtime.
Is this something that is already "available" or would it require large modifications to the engine?

  as far as I know, modifying terrain2 mesh at run time is not so easy (since it uses heightmaps), but might be feasible.
Try catching thebolt on IRC (#crystalspace @, he should know better wink
