strange tutorial 3 (simpmap) behaviour [solved]

i found some strange problems trying out the tutorial applications in the cs directory.
When i try walking into the second room, i "fall" through the floor. i have looked at the source for this tutorial 3(simpmap) and i can't see a reason why this should be happening. Any ideas?

The flarge map as used by the tutorial has lots of collision detection bugs. It is not a bug in the code but in the map. With a better map it will look fine.

As Jorrit pointed out, the flarge map has a number of issues.  Try using the 'castle' map instead.
