Hello everyrone.
I'm trying to export a level from 3dsmax into CS format.
I was able to export statics but have some problems with height map or some questions to be precise:
1. During export the following error shows up: ERROR: ps_terrain.shaders.txt not found
Where can I find the file and where should it be?
2. During the first try to use exporter from 3dsmax the following error occurs:
-- Compile error: No outer local variable references permitted here: OutputGenMeshFactory
--In line:   OutputGenMeshFactory t
Does anybody know what the error is and what I should do to fix it?
3. I have a graphical file of height map - what should I do to get a game height map?
Is there any documentation about how to use heightmapgen.exe and what it's needed for?
4. Documentation for exporter says:
"You have to use gfxpackage enabled for NR. it will never work on OR"
Does anyone know what is NR or OR?
5. Also, it's written in the documentation:
“Copy the world file in the gfxpackage/levels/something dir as always. Plus you need two files in the same dir: the heightmap and the materialmap”
How can I get separate heightmap and materialmap during export from 3dsmax to put them in a needed catalog?
Thank you for your answers in advance.

I can't answer about 3DSMax exporter specific questions, for that you could
come in IRC channel #crystalspace @ and ask there,
or in Planeshit specific channel since I know at least some of them use that.
Are you modeling for Planeshift ?

heightmapgen is a tool to create a terrain mesh using terrain plugin from a
"normal mesh", that is, if you created the "ground" or world using genmesh.

The basemapgen tool will create an image using the materials in the palette
which is to be used as the base image, the one used as a texture when you're far away.

NR is "new renderer", OR is "old renderer".
It's been a while since CS only has the new renderer (0.98 or 1.0).
