some problem about load custom font

hi, all
I'm using a custom font which include Chinese character, and I follow the step of CS document(I'm using the windows 2000.)
First, I seach the WiNNT to load an Chinese font(*.ttf), and then using the csfgen.exe to convert this ttf font to csf format, but I always get the answer of:
Could not open fontfile simhei.ttf!
Cannot load font file simhei.ttf
Does anybody meet this problem before?

Any help and suggestion will be welcome!

Can you show us the code that you use to load the font?

I use this command line to run:
D:\cvsroot\CS>csfgen simhei.ttf
Could not open fontfile simhei.ttf!
Cannot load font file simhei.ttf
and I also copy some other english ttf font from winnt folder, it also show that result.

You need a VFS path like this:

csfgen /this/simhei.ttf

I once had a problem because I uploaded the font using my ftp program which did not upload it as Raw data and messed up the font. Try to upload using raw data upload.

If you can, it's better to use a TrueType font directly.
