plz help me....i cant figure out how on earth to install Crystal Space..

You'll have to give a bit more information. What operating system? What compiler? What version of CS?

Also did you read the manual? Everything is explained there.

running on windows XP... i have 0.99 version...

hope this helps...

plz tell me what to do..and where is the guiding manual??

It would be useful to know what build tools you are using. Knowing this, we can point you at the appropriate documentation in the manual or at least give context-appropriate advice. There is a "Building and Installing" chapter in the CS manual:

Visual C++ is a separate project that costs money. If that is a problem you can also compile Crystal Space using the free mingw compiler http://www.mingw.org

That's explained in the manual.

You can always ask us if you have a problem when following the manual.

what happens if i have Microsoft visual c++ toolkit 2003

which visual c++ do i get...which one is the best...

i dont know if i can get them but i might be able to, i just need to know
which one i need
