I know It is not the Blender forum, but I think somebody can help.
I want to make a ventillation grill in my level. I make a plane, and put this texture to it:



How can I make the black areas invisible?

Add alpha channel to the image with alpha=0 in black areas & save as png/tga. Some Photoshop work, not Blender Smiley

U can using Gimp. U added the alpha channel for black layer and deleting this pixels or u can using mask.
