How do I use crystalspace on kubuntu?

I recently started using linux, I got the kubuntu breezy distribution and using its packet manager I downloaded crystalspace.  Now I want to run a test or demo to see if crystalspace it works but I'm not sure how to go about that.  The documentation I looked at tells how to run a test but that is for when you build crystal space yourself, and it doesn't exlpain what to do if you installed the packages the way I did.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

AFAIK the CrystalSpace in Ubuntu/Kubuntu is outdated. I think the best way is to uninstall it, get a source package, and compile it.
